Having a perm

After EAON lesson, I walked to the station, a man handed me a handbill. Then, I recured to my mind that I've worn my hair long to have a perm.
The beauty shop was really crowded.
A customer next to me was going to color her hair orange and a customer next to her was going to color his hair violet.
Hmm, everyone wants to color their hair. I've never colored my hair...
The beauticians took great pains to have my hair permanently waved. They often said "Please wait a few minutes" and applied a solution for perm to my hair many times. My hair seemed mulish like its owner, It seemed to want to be straight.
Before long, they let me move to a seat by the window from a seat in front of mirror.
How long ago that a beautician said "please wait a few minutes" lastly ?
I thought.
"Wait a few minutes" × many times ≠ wait for a long time
They seemed to forget me, They looked really busy.

At that moment, an image came to my mind,
If an earthquake occur now...
My appearance was really funny.
Putting many colorful curlers on my head, wearing a towel around my head.
My head was wrapped in cellophane and I wore a nylon mantle.
I looked like " a mixture of Sazaesan and Teruterubohzu".

If an earthquake occur now, I have to escape with my life in such a funny costume. And if I die, when I was found dead, Can people suppress a laugh?

I made up my mind, I stood up and walked across the room, and said " I'd like to go to the bathroom."
They noticed me and after that they let me sit down a seat in front of mirror.
I could get back my original.
OK. I can escape, I felt relieved.

I'm pleased with my hair style it was seasonable.
Next time you meet me, Please say "I like your new hair style!"

Uniform!

An obstinate holding on to outdated ideas.

White flimsy shirt with a ribbon.
Navy tight short skirt regardless of age.
Navy vest with gold buttons.
And navy outmoded sweater.

Oh! What stylish clothes! I’ve never seen plain clothes like these.
I think these are stereotyped symbol of womanhood.
Why do only women have to wear uniform?
Why are only men allowed to wear colorful tie and shirt, seasonable suits, and jackets suitable for age?
Why do only women have to feel chilly in winter?

I never worn these uniforms before and I won’t wear them forever.
I wear working clothes, so I can put on my favorite and seasonable shirt or sweater under jacket. This style looks like men, but I don’t care. Any working clothes seem better than uniforms!

Who did decide this rule?
Probably people who wanted to swim against the current did.
Why do they tend to despise women’s appeals against uniform?
How’s feminism in Japan doing?
Hey! Who is the person in charge?
Come to see me and persuade me to wear uniform if you have perfect confidence.
But I know that nobody can get me to consent to do it.
Don’t you think Japan society had made by them is a narrow island?

Spring has come.

Recently, I met some young women who are just going out into society at EAON.
Japanese girls be ambitious!
And I pray that your hopes for your futures won’t be hurt by outdated and stereotyped ideas. Please…

Fixed Point Observation 03

Kaliningrad (a town in Germany Kant lived) and Vienna were not only convenient towns getting informations, but also these towns were suitable for them to announce new theories for Kant and Freud.
But nowadays, whether a town is convenient to get infomations is not most important reason when people choose the place to live.
A friend of mine from university who has lived in Tuscany in Itary told me that she could look news in Japan by Internet. Well, she knew more about the latest incidents in Japan than me!
She loves natures and culture in Tuscany.
With the Internet, people might get back primitive sense that people decide the place to settle down for the reason of affection for the area.
Prof.J who has been studied the history of Arechitecture around the Mediterranean Sea said that I could live everywhere in the world and recently he has considered buying a flat in Venetian.

Fixed point observation is a sound idea.
As you know, continuation of something is really important.

But the world is wide and thrilling.
Life is too long to stay at the fixed point.

Have you already decided your fixed point ?
Can you suppress the impulse to move ?

Probably, I can't....

Fixed Point Observation 02

Recently, his painting "Girl with a pearl earring" was made into a movie.
Do you know Jan Vermeer(1632-1675)? He was an artist in Holland.
He lived in Delft all his life and he died at the age of 43, He left more than 30 pictures. He painted Indoor scenes in his house used both as a studio. I feel gloom and dampness in his paintings. How about you?
Sigmund Freud(1856-1939), a phychiatrist in Austria.
After he graduated from Vienna university, he set up his office in a building.
He wrote many theses and books in his office,
He had not moved from Vienna except for going to Paris to study in his youth before he went to London. He had no choice but to flee from Austria for invasion of Nazi.He ended his life in London.

Fixed point observation

Resently,I've been thinking.
There're two kinds of people in the world.
One kind of people are suited for fixed point observation,
And the other are not,
The former kind of people will never change their position once they decided the place to stay.
Some prominent persons belonged to this kind.
Immanuel Kant(1724-1804), a famous philosopher, he was born in a small town
in Germany. He taught in university of this town and did a private teacher in his house and wrote many books in small town.
He never accepted invitations from universities in all over Germany.
He never set out on even a short domestic trip.
As you know, his walk has became legend.
When he started to go for a walk with clockwork precision, the villagers used to adjust their watch.
The walk was enough for him. (To be continued)
